Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safe loading and unloading of packages from the delivery vehicle
- Deliver packages to customers according to scheduled routes and delivery windows
- Obtain customer signatures or confirmations for delivered packages when required
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
- Greet customers professionally and provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Address customer questions or concerns and resolve issues as they arise
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle
- Report any vehicle issues or malfunctions to management promptly
